The creation of hand knotted rugs and carpets is not an ordinary process but encompasses the knowledge and expertise that the weavers have gained with their years of experience. The excellence in this artistic craft comes by passing through one generation to another and this excellence can easily be spotted in our huge collection of hand knotted carpet and rugs.

The hand knotted rug is made on a vertical loom by skilled craftsmen. Knot is made by yarn being tied on the wrap threads. Normally more than two craftsmen weave together to make the rugs. It’s a process taking a minimum of 2 months, ranging up to almost a year depending on the quality and size of carpet being woven.

With state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities, we are engaged in manufacturing and exporting of an extensive range of Handloom Carpets. These carpets are available in unique and traditional & contemporary designs that attract the customers. We master in creating texture and using new materials like Bamboo silk (viscose), New Zealand wool and other materials. The weaving is done by very skilled weavers, 2-3 weavers are required for each loom. All carpets are professional hand washed and hand finished to give the final finish. The shearing of the pile is also done by hand, by skilled craftsmen. These rugs have durable cotton backing as canvas with suitable adhesive. Our new collection of Hand Tufted rugs are made from various materials such as wool, silk, polyester, linen etc. which meet customer’s requirements. These rugs are made using a hand-operated gun-like machine to shoot fibers onto the canvas stretched on a frame where pattern is traced with the help of pre designed mold. The rugs is always tufted from back onto front. When all the yarn is punched into the pattern, a backing cloth/net is placed on the rug with high quality latex, to keep the fibers in place. Once complete, the rug’s tufts or “loops” may be visible, shaved down, or carved to create definition in the pattern. All sewing of edges, pile work and embossing are done by hand.

In recent years, handloom technology has been advanced in manufacturing of carpet and a new technique has been developed for weaving of durries which is knows as Jacquard Durries. In this weaving technique a unique machine is installed with handloom for making the design & pattern on durries. The design & pattern is developed by making holes in a set of cardboards of equal size and shape which are stitched together to make the complete design & pattern. The weaving is done by well-trained craftsmen and 1 to 3 craftsmen require operating the loom that depends on size of the rugs. These rugs made up of different materials like wool, cotton, viscose, jute etc. and available in unique design & pattern with or without backing canvas that provide luxurious look. Due to unique manufacturing technique its production is very fast & cheap as compared to traditional durries.

The best leathers around from the world have been carefully selected to make leather carpet, exclusive and luxurious. Expert craftsmen work with cow, bull and oxen leather from the best tanneries and put their heart and soul into each rugs ensuring that no damaged skin are used. Hand selected cow hide married with soft and durable bamboo viscose. The base of the rug is made from leather with the hair still on the hide which gives a nice contrast to the plush bamboo viscose. The result is a rug with high low pile which gives it a nice texture, shine and very luxurious look.  Each beautifully handmade rug is backed with high quality micro suede fabric which gives a distinctive finish, while also minimizing the need for a separate rug pad.
